Tanglwood Lakes

Tanglwood Lakes has a beautiful, sandy beach situated on Lake Wallenpaupack. The beach is open to residents and children. The TLCA area includes a covered handicap accessible gazebo with seating and cooking facilities, a bathhouse with rest rooms, an open deck picnic platform and additional picnic tables and charcoal grills on the grounds. There is also a volleyball court and paved parking area. As a service to members, Tanglwood Lakes maintains a marina with 106 permitted boat slips which are rented annually. There is also a paved boat ramp for residents who choose to launch boats periodically for a yearly or daily fee. Tanglwood’s playground is located on Tanglwood Drive across the road from the Nature Area. In addition to the swings and play apparatus this large open area includes a basketball court, a ball field, a walking track, picnic tables, and a handball court.  The area has outdoor night lighting. The community operates and maintains a newly renovated 2-court tennis area. The courts are also lined for Pickle ball. A fitness center is also located in the community. It includes a large screen television, hand weights and mats, water cooler, sanitary supplies, a recumbent bike, an elliptical machine, two treadmills, and a Universal gym system. Winding throughout the community is an 18-hole Tom Fazio Championship golf course. Paupack Hills is known in northeast Pennsylvania as a scenic, challenging, premium level course. It is a private club for members and their guests and Tanglwood Lakes residents and their guests. The newly renovated restaurant, On the Green, is open to the public year round serving breakfast during golf season.
